SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Please Note: Due to the current Covid-19 situation parcel processing and delivery times may be longer than anticipated. Please see the Australia Post website here for updates on impacts to Domestic and International Delivery services. Although we understand this can be frustrating we ask that you remain patient while Australia Post does their best to meet the massive volumes of parcels while under tight Covid-19 restrictions and reduced staff levels. Thank you for your continued patience and your support.

Per the Australia Post website: "Express Post guarantee currently suspended Express Post remains our fastest postal delivery option, but current circumstances mean we can't guarantee next-business-day delivery at the moment." 

Shipping to WA: Please note that we are not offering Standard shipping to WA due to the recent challenges Australia Post has encountered due to inclement weather events and flooding. Shipping to WA is only being offered via Express and is as follows: $10 for orders up to $99. $5 for orders between $99-$149 and FREE for orders over $149. We apologise for any inconveniences this may cause.

    Shipping & Delivery Information

    • All orders, with the exception of pre-order items, placed before 12 pm AEDST/AEST, Monday through Friday (public holidays excepted) will be shipped the same day. Orders placed outside that time frame will go out on the next business day.
    • All Watercolour Print orders ship out once a week depending on when the order was placed. Please allow 7 business days for shipment of your print.
    • Please note that items purchased during a Special Sale Event or a New Release will take an additional 5-10 business days for shipment due to the large volume of orders received during these special events.

     Domestic (Australia Wide) Shipping

    • All orders over $99 AUD ship via Standard Post FREE.
    • All orders over $149 AUD ship via EXPRESS Post FREE.
    • All orders under $99 will be charged a flat rate of $10.
    • Express shipping can be added to orders under $99 for an additional $5
    • Express shipping can be added to orders over $99 and under $149 for an additional $5
    • Express orders placed before 12 pm on a business day should arrive to you on the next business day as long as you are located in Australia Post’s Next Day Guarantee Network.
    • For mail delivery times please see the current estimates on the Australia Post website. All Items will ship from Victoria, postcode 3029. 
    • Please note that due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, shipping may take slightly longer than usual. 
    • In order to receive free shipping, the order total must meet the minimum monetary requirement after discounts and rewards have been applied. 
    • Shipping charges & Gift Card purchases do not count towards the free shipping minimum requirement as they are virtual and not a physical, shippable product.
    • We apologise but we cannot combine orders that are placed separately nor can we offer refunds for the shipping paid for each separate order.

    International Shipping

    • All orders over $199 AUD ship via tracked International Standard Post FREE.
    • All orders under $199 AUD will be charged a flat rate of $15 for International Standard Shipping.
    • Tracked International Express shipping can be added to orders under $249 for an additional $15
    • All orders over $250 AUD ship via tracked International Express Post FREE.
    • We love our international customers and there are very few countries that we do not ship to. That said, there are a few important things to note if you are ordering from afar.
    • Please note that delivery times for international order can vary widely. We understand that international shipping can be quite a costly exercise and encourage you to consider all the factors prior to placing your order.

    Customs Fees & Possible Taxes

    • International orders may be subject to customs fees or taxes. These extra costs are determined and charged once a shipment reaches your country of residence. The amount charged depends on the country to which the order was shipped as each country has its own set of laws and fees. The charges are not made or determined by Cheeky Chickadee nor are they pre-paid by us, so please direct any questions in regards to these costs and the customs clearance process to your local customs office.
    • Cheeky Chickadee will not be held responsible for any customs fees and/or taxes that are applied to your parcel upon its arrival in your country. The customer will be responsible for paying any additional charges for customs clearance. Cheeky Chickadee must declare all items at their purchased price and cannot change this amount to lower customs fees.
    • If your parcel is refused, you will then be responsible for the original shipping charges as well as any custom fees or taxes that are incurred. If you return the parcel to Cheeky Chickadee, these costs (shipping. taxes, customs fees - if incurred) will be deducted from your merchandise refund. In the rare instance that the price to return the merchandise exceeds the total amount of the merchandise originally purchased, including shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.

     Returned & Mis-Delivered Parcels

    • Parcels that are returned to us due to customer error, i.e. wrongly addressed, non-collection, unpaid customs fees, etc - will not be re-shipped for free. In instances that these errors occur and a parcel is returned to our warehouse then a flat fee for domestic customers of $10 will be required for reshipment via standard post or $15 for express post. A flat fee for international customers of $15 will be required for reshipment via standard post or $30 for express. We will invoice you for the fees for re-shipment before sending the parcel back out. Should the customer abandon the parcel we will issue a store credit for the amount of the order, shipping costs excluded.
    • Parcels that are returned to us due to customer error such as "accidental purchase," or "accidental double order" may be eligible for a refund of order total less the shipping cost.
    • Parcels that are mis-delivered by fault of the Australian Post will need to be addressed with your local postal carrier and Australia Post. Most mis-delivered cases are remedied by checking around the home, with neighbours, family members/roommates, etc. Australia Post should be able to provide a proof of delivery by way of photograph or signature. If a mis-delivered parcel makes its way back to our warehouse we will contact you upon receipt.
