By preordering, it ensures you're able to get this best seller before it sells out again and you'll know you'll be sorted for the season ahead! By offering the collection via preorder, we're able to offer a broader range of styles and prints, and it increases the likelihood of you getting the pieces that you're after, less wastage from production, and also makes the pieces even more unique for you and your chickadees!
Please only order items with the same PreOrder shipping date in the same order as we’re unable to split ship orders, and items that are in-stock but with a pending PreOrder piece will be held until the PreOrder stock arrives.

NEW UPF 50+ Cheeky Chickadee play-ready swim fabric. Nylon for lightweight strength, improved friction resistance & quick drying. Spandex for stretch & durability. Our swimwear fabric is soft to the touch, breathable, chlorine resistant and has a four way stretch to make it comfy to wear. It is also colour sealed so it will never run or change colour over time. Print placement varies.
To get the most wear and retain colour vibrancy please follow these best care tips for your swimwear: Rinse immediately after use to clean out salt, sand, pool water and perspiration. This is especially important if the suit is being worn in a public chlorinated pool as high concentrations of chlorine will break down fabric fibres and fade colour over time if not properly rinsed. Machine or hand wash (zippers up) in cool water with mild detergent or liquid soap after every wear. Do not wring, rub, soak or bleach. Do not tumble dry - Only drip dry in shade. I bought size 12 for both of my boys, ages 7 and 9, who both wear size 10-12 in regular clothes. One of my sons has a stocky build, and the other very slim, and this suit them both. We got one orange and one green.
It is nice and long, which is perfect for good coverage and gives them another season to fit into it! The arms are also longer which is great for proper coverage of their wrists, and will also give room to grow. The material is lovely, and good quality, and it came in its own little bag which was so handy to travel with!
I would definitely recommend.

It looks great, feels good quality, and he said it’s comfortable on. My only comment would be that the neck area is a tad wide for full sun protection but my son doesn’t mind that. He likes the longer length too. I love that I can spot him easily when he’s out in the crowded surf!
The vibrancy of this print is amazing! It made it so easy to spot my little human in all the chaos of a water park. Plus the long sleeves kept him both sun safe AND warm due to us being in Victoria and the weather choosing to be strange and throw random cold days in the middle of summer. He loves it because at certain points on the print he can see "two dinos kissing" which he thinks is the best!
Love these prints. So bright and easy to spot. The material is so soft and such great quality. The frill on the girls bathers gives extra sun protection and coverage.

One day I’ll stop the matchy-matchy with my boys… but today is not that day. This is such an ‘Aussie summer’ print - we couldn’t love it more! - and my newly-glasses-ed eldest loves that relatable add (and pop of colour) on the seagulls’ faces. The blues in this season’s swimwear are all *stunning* and the prints are imaginative and beautifully painted, as always. Another win for Cheekies!!
